hi all

slightly taboo topic I would imagine, but I got into a very interesting discussion with a mate laste night regarding the usage of this drug, and how its becoming more and more accepted to be used in therapy sessions!?!?

I was like WTF, has anyone else every heard of this? I mean what could be the benefit of this, unless your shrink is pumping some Paul van Dyk in the background... :D

I've has many "therapy sessions" myself ;)

Curious to hear your thoughts

Psychedelics are making a huge comeback (with regard to psychotherpists etc) Look up MAPS, loads of info there. Also strassberg has been doing some ground breaking work with DMT, soon to be released movie about it called The Spirit Molecule, interesting times! :)

YAY!

edit: linky http://www.maps.org/

hmmm....this reminds me of Randy (South Park) giving himself ball cancer so he can buy weed legally

if this is legal we are going to see a lot more people going to these "therapy sessions"

It gets used to treat severe cases of mental disease, psychedelics are so strong it seems to have the potential to rewire brain synapses, thus allowing some patients a fresh start at a new life. It's pretty remarkable actually.

What grates my carrot is this research could have been done for the last 50 years or so but due to government meddling (mostly american) all studies on psychedelics relating to mind therapy were stopped, we could have been pretty far with this already. Unless of course it all went underground (mkultra et al) in which case it opens up doors for the conspiracy junkies. :)

I think they were banned because the Illuminati are hiding there potential.

why did they meddle?

Because America is/was very conservative, any drug is a bad drug, no exceptions (as they take a sip on their whiskey and puff their cigarette). You almost must remember that drugs create a docile population (with regards to psychedelics, weed and downers. drugs like heroine and crystal meth are obviously bad for you, so that's a no brainer ;) ). If you believe in conspiracies, then the idea behind preventing a docile nation is that America needed to perform wars, and the less docile, more agro the population, the more chance the country will be able to go to war and the more chance the population will vote for the party that will bring action ;). Of course this is just a conspiracy :p.

Lol, I love the conspiracy :p

Ever had it? Makes you spill all the beans.....I actually see nothing really wrong if its in a controlled environment+ you know the stuff wont be mixed with 90% rat poison :D

and :wtf: happened to him??

He convulsed a lot on the floor, frothing at the mouth! :) Someone gave him an adrenalin jab to the heart, sorted instantly@! Luckily we were with some hardcore psychonauts who knew what to do.

THe MK-ULTRA project probably had a lot to do with it.

yeah also remember seeing someone frothing at the mouth... "seeing evil" they used to call it.

wont ever forget that.. it was the Camel experience... 1999

Personally, I reckon the worst decision I made was started smoking, I can't farking shake free of it :(

Ask your doctor for Zyban. Stopped smoking within 2 weeks , no withdrawal, pain or suffering. Haven't touched a cigarette again 1 1/2 years later.
