Any other good options? the mxq players are terrible not even worth mentioning!
If you want something reliable and have the budget then get yourself a shield. Amazon has good specials often.

Zidoo X20Pro if you have the bucks and want something exceptional. Else the cheaper Z9S is a good option. It's the update of the X9S which I have 2 of.

I think he was referring to apps like APKKure where you have to install some apps through that app that comes with all the ads.

Yep. This site creates an APK that is basically a shortcut to the app you want in your favourites, and you can place it wherever you please. Much cleaner than another app launcher.

Do you use this? Do you get ads all the time?

I first check the the developer's site doesn't have a downloadable version. Those generally haven't been tampered with.

The X9S isn't as I have one so can confirm. Not sure about the new ones.

Depends how you want to use it.
Looks like a cool device, but if it't not certified, I'm not going to bother. But as you said, for someone else it might be perfect.

I have bandwidth problems streaming so it's all download and watch later or my catalog of music and dvd's on a HDD. So I don't bother with netflix and Showmax.

Hi guys. My choice is between Mygica ATV900 Pro vs Mygica 495X. Would one should I take

!

Works FANTASTIC until you try DStv Now....useless. HD channels looks fantastic but all buffer within seconds (10mbps fibre line), SD channels look worse than via the DStv decoder.

Returned mine after one day. Won't recommend....yet others don't seem to have an issue. I suspect quality checks may be an issue at the factory.
