Media Player

If I can jump on the bandwagon here - I'm looking for a player where my main concern would be to stream all my content from my PC over Ethernet cable. Obviously needs to support all video/audio formats. Not too fussed about Netflix, etc. Any cost-effective suggestions?

Pc Via ethernet straight into a media player then to tv? What about PC via ethernet into Ps3(if you have one)

As a matter of interest. How much does a new Raspberry PI cost these days including power adapter, SD card and enclosure?

Late reply .... I think the board was about R700 with a 4gb card, the whole lot (case, power supply + cable) probably about R1100. But I used old Cell chargers with micro USB ports (you need a 1A 5V charger) Software and updates = FREE
