Guys I need a new plan from a new company, hospital plan only please dont say Discovery, I am sick of those thieving animals that only pay 100%, I need one that covers me that pays 300%, something like Momentum? Liberty?

I changed from Discovery to them, also to a hospital plan. Its R900 ish a month.
My changes will only come into effect next year... so I can't really comment on them

Dude...you need to do some in depth research. Depending on the plan, as with most medical aids, they pay between 100% - 300% medical aid rates. I am with Discovery and the plan Im on pays 200%. Some plans offer 300% on Discovery too.

I pay almost R 1k per child currently and I have 4 :eek:

My medical aid is currently just below R 8k but that is with full cover on everything.

Moving to a Hospital plan and paying the doctors and dentists myself I can save PLENTY and only be paying Around R 3k per month on this option. A saving of close to R 5k.

Wife and i just had to change and have gone with their hospital plan. About R1700 for both of us. Also they let you change plans at any time during the year not only Jan1.

I heard most medical aids are reducing max rates to 200% from next year. Can anyone confirm that?

I wonder if they have a limit on the amount of kids?
But ja, R5000 x 12 = R60000... And I doubt your medical expenses will amount to that much
 
I am on bonitas and have 0 issues with them, always pay my claims, etc np
