Mega 100WR / WR2 Firmware Release ...

Telkom 100WR upgrade broke

Hi all, I upgraded my router and it does not seem to boot anymore, at the end of the upgrade it said that the upgrade was successful, but now only the power and E1 (E1 = Lan) light comes on... how do I reload it or downgrade, it does not seem to boot so I can not access it through the web interface...
 
yeah updating it is very risky, mine didnt work either, but i fiddled around with the update program and got it working again... you need to force certain variables, i cant remember what I did because it was all the way back in august last year, lol :/
 
I upgraded mine and it worked fine... :confused:
It's giving lots and lots of problems now after 16 months though... so rather get yourself a new router if you got the moola.
 
I also upgraded mine and had no problems with it. In fact works better than when I first got it.
 
Mega 100WR Login Error

I cannot log into the unit

usr admin pass admin
enter
then it says internet explorer can not display page.. nothing like user name or password incorect!

any assit. / advice ?
 
Ai, why reopen such an old thread -> Create your own rather.

You're probably trying to connect to the wrong IP address, OR you have a proxy server set with incorrect rules, OR your routing table is damaged by RouteSentry.

To get the IP address of your router, simply get the Gateway IP address of your LAN connection. Usually the IP address would be 10.0.0.2
If you don't know how to get that address, run the following: 'cmd /c ipconfig /all & pause'
 
sorry bud new to this ....
no done everything right
my ip 10.0.0.9
unit ip 10.0.0.2
i get the log in screen but no further...
the web interface window just go dead as if the web site not found...
hold on and here is a nother spanner in the works ive just opened a brand new unit received from a mate ...Mega 100WR..same thing.
..um ps how do a create a new post/thread!
