Megsapp Feedback and Support Thread

This sounds like a great deal!
Are there still limits on data I can send monthly?
My esim phone should arrive next week, me and my partner will port and get the 25GB next expired data, and maybe an extra sim for my tablet and another sim for my 4g modem.
I was looking at afrihost also but to my surprise they don't even support 5G.
Yes 7.5gb

Is it 7.5gb for any data package or will I get more/less depends on the package I choose?

I registered an esim, and rica, process was nice and quick.
Now I want to port my number, but getting this:
Before you start, please ensure:
1. You have inserted your NEW SIM and received a new number.
2. After that, take out your NEW SIM and store it away safely. We will let you know when it is time to insert it.
3. Put back the OLD SIM (SIM you want to port from) into your phone. For example, if you're porting from Vodacom, your Vodacom SIM needs to be in your phone right now. This is crucial for receiving the OTP required for porting.
Please reply with the phone number you would like to port.

Not sure exactly how to proceed, with the esim.
Do I "disconnect" it? still figuring out the "esim stuff".

Thanks.
While i am waiting for my number to be ported.
How do I get extra, physical sims?
Do I need to go to one of the listed shops?

My port is done, but my esim isn't active:-(

I am down for 13 hours and whats worse is that I can't get support anywhere

Is it safe to delete my esim from the phone and add it again?

Ok I am up and running now, my Rica took way to long to be verified..
How do I get additional sims?is it best to go to a shop?
Does all "game" has them?

How do we get support ?my partner also ported and same issues, no feedback at all from Megsapp?
@Smiggles do you offer support at all?
I used whats app and email and got nothing b ack
by the way my rica address is completely wrong, I didn't even provide it and I can't change it

As it says the network provider registered it and it links to Megsapp offices.

This situation is completely unacceptable.

We’ve ported a number to an Megsapp and despite being told that “everything is fine” and the port was successful, that is clearly not the case. My partner has been completely offline—her FNB SIM no longer works, and the new eSIM doesn’t either.

To make matters worse, there’s effectively no support. I went through the same issue with my own port and only received a callback after 24 hours. This time? Nothing.

@Smiggles has also confirmed that the support experience is poor.

So what are we supposed to do now? There’s no connectivity, no updates, and no real way to escalate the issue.

Maybe it’s time for an article to warn the public
