Currently women have advantages in the following areas of life:
Every part of the legal system. They get preferential treatment in family court in terms of maintenance, divorce settlements and child custody. A lot of legal jurisdictions have doctrines that state women who claim they have been raped must be believed. If convicted of a crime, a woman faces a lesser sentence than a man convicted of the same crime.
Domestic violence support - there is no support for male victims of spousal abuse, and no plan to introduce any. Almost anywhere in the world. In cases where the male is the victim, frequently he is arrested instead, because the assumption is that the male is the abuser.
Life expectancy - women live longer than men. They have better access to health care, with more money spent on breast cancer than any other cancer in the world, despite it not actually being the most lethal cancer. Women work in less dangerous jobs, with far fewer work place related deaths, and the male suicide rate is far higher.
Education - any woman has preferential access getting into any form of education she chooses. Women are performing better than men at all levels from education, from pre school to university, but this is not something that concerns feminists (who DEFINITELY believe in equality) as who cares about men right? They just stupid or something. Now, there are 50% more women than men in higher education, and this is a cause for concern because it means less eligible men for those women to marry.
Earnings - still a contentious issue, but the gender pay gap does largely disappear if you control for the type of work performed. When comparing people with the same job title and years of experience, the gap largely disappears. Plus, there are now a lot of female only positions, everything from UK MPs, to university professors to boards of companies requiring female representation means there is a lot of push to get women into higher earning roles.
There are massive social advantages that women enjoy, that men don't, but I won't get into these because they are bit harder to define.
So yeah, men are definitely more privileged am I right? This is why we need feminism - because women have too few advantages in life.
