Mercedes CLA

Yeah, no LED on the CLA or any other A variant. Simply Xenon with LED DRL, though I think some models have it in as standard.
 
On the speed thing, regardless of whether the S3 'only' has 206kw vs 260kw on the A45, they're exceptionally close. A mildly modified S3 will take an A45 with ease.

I'm not sure if it's the first batches that are 'slow' (ala Golf 5 GTI and Mazda MPS) or if they're just always going to be 'slow', but they're not as quick or the specs make out. Or the Golf / VW '206kw' is very conservative ?
 
VW usually make factory quoted flywheel power at the wheels, seen that many a time at dyno days. Whatever VWSA quote for engin output, I take with a pinch of salt.
 
Vw quote their engine outputs at really high ambient temps and low pressures. Kinda worst case.

Interesting. Be that as it may, I will never own a VAG product of any kind again. I had 4, and those were 4 too many.

Anyone on 'your side' in a Golf 7R or Audi S3 try one?

My stepbrother tried in a 7R (with software) and was ahead quite convincingly pretty much most the way. My guess is at stock, they'd be similar
