Messed up situation...

1st things 1st check what sickness the chick has and then make sure you clear too, you don't want some bat from hell sickness.
 
Needed to create a throw away for this, but I have been in the swinging scene for a while, and have met many couples that are in the OP's situation, where one of the partners are more "into" it. I do not see anything wrong with OP's life choice as far as the open relationship nor that he is ok with it if his wife sees other guys. Like he said, he has been married for 18 years and OP adores his wife, and she him. I think that our views on intimacy, sex etc are based a lot on the ideas of our parents and grandparents.

Like the one friend of mine said when I asked her how she feels about it that her husband is having sex with a couple of girls at the one party we attended, she said she is 100% fine with it, because in the end of the night, he comes home with her, and she is the one that falls asleep in his arms.

Fair enough but then don't create a thread and have stuff like this:

"Later that night my wife confessed that she saw a message in which the "other girl" said that she misses me already and that I replied "Same here" and she felt very uncomfortable about it and thinks that we must end it, but that she also feels guilty for having seen so many other men over the years and now that I am seeing my first one, she can not accept it."

It just proves the old things as right.

TBF once you have a partner and kids and a job, I cannot fathom where people find the time for infidelity. I can barely find the time to angrily shake a stick at the hub, never mind pursue an actual whole human being for sex.

OP has a somewhat modern arrangement with his wife.
Most of MyBB are such manly men that the thought of another guys wife having partners outside of the marriage has them in paroxysms of verkrtamptgheid.
A few forumites actually take part in the thread as opposed to parading their masculinity by means of "cuck" etc.
OP realises he's not as accomplished in this field as his wife is and he needs to realign, seems like it will end well all things said and done.

Jealousy is bound to come into play when having these open relationships... reason why it fails.
