Which ISP are you using on the MFN Network?

Getting some erratic speeds now, will check again tomorrow if I get to the 500/500 mark. IMG_6942.jpg
 
Fml…. I still don’t have our upgraded speed haha. I’m envious of all these screenshots [mention]cavedog [/mention] what ISP are you with?

Mind the Speed published the new packages on their site.

20/20 = R495
50/50 = R695
100100 = R875
200/200 = R1095
500/500 = R1295

Aren't you already on 1000/250? Or did they bring you down?
 
Wonder which ONT's MFN is using these days. Wonder if the Calix ONT I currently use will be suitable for a Gigabit service

What Calix is it?
We got MFN late last year so I assume we're on newer hardware.
We got a little Nokia 7368 G-010G-Q with a Gigabit port.

They mostly use the 803Gv2 or if you are a Metro ISP or in Sandton they use the 812g or 813g.

If you are in KZN or PTA North they use the Nokia G-010G-Q or if you are with Metro ISP the Nokia G-240W-C

A Calix 803G

Edit: Cavedog has the exact model, I was too lazy to pick up the ONT and look

I'm also kinda interested in the performance of the 803Gv2 on gigabit, this is the ONT I have right now with Vuma Villages and it gives me 107/107 up and down on a 100Mbps line but I'm wondering if this little device would be able to handle gigabit.

When I was with Openserve I had the Nokia G-240G-C which was much bigger and had 4 ethernet ports, the Calix ONT only has one ethernet port.
 
I like the bit of extra speed they allowing.

The 300Mbps was like hard capped to 289 or something. If they keep it as is you will basically get 20Mbps extra which is the entry package.

Yeah I'm switching to 1Gbps as soon as it's available.
