So the 100/100 will not receive a speed upgrade?

Yes they will the chart doesn't seem to have them will edit it.

100/100 goes to 200/200 for R1097

This means everyone goes to the next speed for the same price except for the 300/300 who goes to 500/500 also but get a R200 reduction in price.

20/20 and 100/250 are new packages so there won't be existing clients on these speeds. Once the packages have been changed in your clientzone you can then choose to migrate to other speeds by submitting a downgrade or upgrade.

Anyone know when the speeds will be rolled out by cool ideas?

They said the first

Thanks for the reply, I must have missed that. 500mbps here I come ….

Man, that entry price is quite attractive.
A friend who's still on ADSL is finally moving over to fibre because of this since he essentially ends up paying the same but doubles his speed up to 20mbps.

I wonder if that 20/20 will bring in a lot of new customers.

I'm on MFN through RSAWeb and they just confirmed that they will not be offering the double your speed promotion. Maybe it's time to look at another ISP????
i dont think they have a choice, lower speeds will be disappearing

That doesn't make sense.
Why would they confirm such a thing after providing Mybroadband with their new pricing and packages in that article from earlier this week?

This is their response from the sales team.

we are currently offering a pricing promotion on MFN , there is a monthly discounted price with these packages , not double speed .

But the promotion is only for new customers. Who in their right mind will sign up with RSAWeb instead of taking the double your speed option at other ISPs.

I think that person misunderstood the question.

Also ISP's don't have a choice. The line speeds are doubled for existing clients. If they don't want to offer it they will spend a very long time downgrading everyone again after the changes has been made.
