I think my connection table is sorted for now. :giggle:

1 x 1Gbps MetroFibre line
1 x 400Mbps MetroFibre line
1 x 20Mbps VDSL line
It's time to look at a nice x86 box to use with pfSense or OpenWrt something, multiple WANs with load balancing and what not.

Looks like metrofibre / afrihost is down in Midrand @Afrigirl @AfriNatic please advise

MetroFibre has done re-provisioning on the ONT to fix the speed issue.

Please reboot the ONT and Router to restore services.

Rebooted a few times now. Still completely dead on my end.

The question on my mind is, why isn't all customers getting the 1000/500 package as an option?

It is up to Metro Fibre, they only doing it if you go through them as your ISP if I remember correctly, I know AfriNatic says Afrihost is asking them to push it to 1000/500

Afrihost / MFN PE down anyone?

Not seeing a notice yet if there is an outage. There is some drop in traffic but exactly at 23:00 which suggests loadshedding but there is still a healthy traffic level.

Drop me your mail so I can have a look for you.
