What's the status of this?
Please add me to the conversation with @AfriNatic, so I check with Metrofibre.

I have been having the same issue on my 200MB lineFolks I believe all the upgrades have been done. But below is the speed test result from this morning.

Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test
Use Speedtest on all your devices with our free desktop and mobile apps.www.speedtest.net
I tested while all other devices were off, it was loadshedding, the router and ont is on a gizzu device. My family we all asleep. I used a wifi 6 phone to test, and phone was connected to 5ghz band, with the phone next to the router. Router is the Afrihost AX3.
I am not getting anything above 100mbps - what am I doing wrong that I am not seeing any visible change in speed since the upgrade has been done?
Really stumped!
Test with a cable, maybe its not your wifi.Folks I believe all the upgrades have been done. But below is the speed test result from this morning.

I did and same result.
Our resident Afrihost reps (who have really helped me out, thank you guys) have indicated it might actually be the cable between the ONT and the router - i will use the cable supplied with the Afrihost AX3 router to test and will advise.
Hoping its as simple as that
What a ridiculous weird bug.Hi
All the MetroFibre promotional upgrades were completed last night at around 19:30.
The speedtests of ~94Mbps is usually an indication of a cable issue. Please make sure you use a cat5e cable. The Huawei routers don't always like Cat6 cables and tend to fall back to 100Mbps on Cat6
Did you use the cable between the router and ONT or Router and PC?Issue was definitely the cable. Used the cat5e cable in the AX3 box and below latest speed test results over WiFi

@AfriNatic Work your magicAfriNatic just cancelled with WebAfrica Helper 500/500 and moved over to Afrihost 400/400. Pity I have to wait till the end of March now… hopefully Afrihost can make the move over seamless for me please. Any suggestions or things I need to do to make this process smoother? I have my own Ubiquiti UniFi routers so happy to just configure those.

Also AfriNatic can I be given a static IP address please? How does that request work.
Morning
We don't offer a static IP on MetroFibre. The public ip is relatively static because it's linked to your router mac address. If the mac address doesn't changes the IP will likely not change either.
