That email does not exist. Get a message failure trying to send to that.... Guess I'll just phone them. Would have been great to have a user portal

Sorry I haven't been in contact with them for 9 months I only get emails from their finance department.

Can you confirm if your router is the same like I've posted above ? And that during your installation you also waited for the service light to go on ?

Nothing needed on your end to do. Just wait for the network to authenticate you automatically ? Almost magically

How long did this authentication phase take ?

yes it will authenticate automatically BUT you need to email them to get activated else you will be waiting till the cows come home

email has changed use this:
ftthsupport@metrofibre.co.za

you need to include the ONT details barcoded sticker on your device and you also need to include your name surname and physical address.

Are you the only one in your complex with this issue or is it everyone?

Everyone in the complex ... But everyone was told to just wait and we'd get automatically authenticated. The techie said he has remotely done the request etc.

Have done now exactly that ...emailed the address you gave with pic of my ont details and my details

Hopefully it will be sorted soon enough. Thank you for the guidance

The fact that you have an ONT it means splicing for the complex is complete.
Since its everyone it means that the fibre from the street has not been made live yet.

Got off the phone with the support centre ... I was told the site is live but not activated on their systems yet and only when that happens will they see the modems. How long can this typically take ?

But correct me if I'm wrong ... If the fibre was not live at all certainly then my broadband light would also be off? I take it as being on meaning we connected to the mf network ... Am I wrong ? (I ain't a pro on this subject so educate me)
