A pity they didn't try to slim the top and bottom bezels a bit, cut down on the length of the thing...Unfortunately not. But better speakers, build quality, more ram, decent camera (same one as in the mi6 iirc), usb type C and 64GB base model.
You might have to remove that protector, because re applying pressure will just do more damageHmm:

Good stuff
My screen protectors etc still haven't arrivedPost #29
The current glass protector (with the crack now spreading) seems to slide all over the place. I often have to apply pressure to re-position it.
Anyone else experiencing the same?
I'd say sunlight legibility is on par with most other devices. Maybe slightly worse than my Samsung S5 but not much. How is the MI Max, is it a good device outdoors? Ie under direct sunlight
Strangely, despite the quality of my Note 4 screen, I find in direct sunlight it's terrible. So looking for another device, but also don't want to spend a lot on it.I'd say sunlight legibility is on par with most other devices. Maybe slightly worse than my Samsung S5 but not much.
I've also had a Note 4. The Mi Max is not markedly worse in sunlight, that's for sure. Most phones I've used are not great outdoors... Include the high end ones.Strangely, despite the quality of my Note 4 screen, I find in direct sunlight it's terrible. So looking for another device, but also don't want to spend a lot on it.
Yeh, strange that they always mention how good it is outdoors etc. However, I have not come across one handset where that was the case. It was still a struggle to see properlyI've also had a Note 4.
