Microsoft Edge - new web browser for Windows 10

Can't wait because Chrome is really starting to annoy me.

+1. It's far better than IE crap. Oh, Aero Glass is back in the latest build. I think I'm starting to love Microsoft again. I'm not completely sold on Windows 10. Almost there.

People still use chrome? Been on FF a while now since I've gotten so tired of chrome's random issues...

Feels like google is on a seriously self-destructive trend lately. Small seemingly innocuous changes that the majority of users can't stand and google couldn't care about reverting. Small things like moving Chrome's tab sync to the history page of all places, the whole youtube google+ integration. Google plus is a massive and complete failure. The only useful part is OAuth2.

I had to use Google App Engine recently for a project, and coming from the Microsoft side of the development world, I have to say, I have never come across a more annoying platform than the Google App Engine.

Going to have to be really really good to make me thing about moving away from Firefox.

Chrome is a real RAM hog. The RAM meter just shoots up as soon as you fire up even a blank chrome tab. Thanks to all that forced background sh 1t we never asked for

Never had Chrome crash on me.

Lost count of the number of times I've had Chrome crash. I hardly used it and it regularly crashed on startup attempting data execution, before I gave up on it.

I'm sticking to Firefox, also because they don't have a vested interest in tracking your for advertising etc.

Interesting as I've had almost 500 views on G+ for doing nothing. Facebook pages not even 10 while putting in effort.

I want to see Chrome do 1038 tabs. Oh wait, it can't even do 10 before eating up all your ram and crashing. If MS wants a winner they should just make something lean with a single process and tack on all the old Opera features.

RAM is cheap nowadays...

I wouldn't upgrade my RAM for a BROWSER. Is Chrome now classified with games where you get minimum and recommended specs? Chrome is headed for the dump unless they change

Exactly, and there are many machines (especially the bulk of consumer laptops running 32bit) where it isn't possible to increase RAM to the extent needed.

"Get more RAM" for Chrome is really a facile comment to excuse the failures of the browser.

I moved to Chrome this week. It's actually rather nice thanks to the Foxish Live RSS extension that provides Firefox RSS functionality. I ditched FF months ago for being slow and crashing too much, and I just ditched Opera after the last update made the browser fugly.
