Microsoft Edge not getting a native ad blocker

I can appreciate the need for adverts to generate revenue.

Many of these adverts are deceptive, fraudulent and downright malicious. The problem is that most adblockers can't distinguish a legitimate advert from the malicious/deceptive ones.

For example, the fake download button has existed since the 90's. Same with the "Your Computer is running slow/infected". Then there's the get rich quick schemes and the miracle cures.

The 7 people who use Edge i am sure dont give a hoot.

Does any desktop browser have native ad blocking functionality? Can't understand why anyone would do that. Surely they'd open themselves up to lawsuits?
