I'm surprised. Are you not perhaps too used to using Google's syntax and using it on Bing? Years and years of using Google might have trained you to think in one way, whereas Msft's search engine needs a different way of shaping your query...?

As with Google, it's worth getting to know and use Bing's search operators for better results. Here and here. Visual search. Example.

I've used Bing as main SE for years and on the whole find it sharper, easier and better than Google.

I switched back to Google as well. Gave Bing a good go and for general searches it worked fairly well. Location based searches are a nightmare though. Not sure if it is Bing, Edge or a combination of both but it never remembers that I'm sitting in SA and resets my location to the UK.
