I'd still take an M$ paycheck over most other companies since M$ pays well - - especially considering that if you do well in SA, you're likely to move to head-office in the US. You'll be one rich person then.

I second that- I would greatfully accept the challenge, not too sure I would want to go to the US office though

I think the staff turnover is to an extent normal, but you will never know what went on behind the scenes.... maybe they were embarassed by the failure of Windows Vista, or perhaps, like the previous company I worked for, were subject to sudden corporate belt-tightening and doomsday propheteering and speeches about "the chinese threat"

True, they do pay well, but being a Linux fan and wiping my ass with M$-imprinted toilet paper, yeah well you know what my answer is.

They don't mention that Henry Ferreira jumped from Nokia to Unisys Africa CEO and then 4 months later job hopped to Microsoft?

really, that must be a way out for many South Africans these days

And in January last year, just days before the launch of Windows Vista, Goona Sagaren Udayan, OEM manager at Microsoft SA resigned.
Lol. He knew what was coming. I would have done this too.
