Doesn't currently ... slightly underspec'd HW ... crash to desktop within 2-5min even tho gameplay is super smooth

I mean the entire taskbar, vertically on the left.

An absolute must-have in the age of 16:9 or 21:9 monitors and if you value vertical pixels on your screen
