I had the RC1 and RC2 and even then did not like it! Rather stick to Windows XP Pro...until something better comes up!

I don't think Vista was a total failure. I mean look at the awesome job it has done promoting Mac OSX and Linux.

um, because MS is basically sweeping it under the carpet. They have extended sales of XP right up to the shipping date of Windows 7. It seems like they have given in to the popular tide of public opinion against Vista. I think they could have avoided a lot of that by dropping the price of Vista... but it is hard to make greedy people see the light.

Beta versions of Windows is not to be trusted in production environments...

Lots of Vista haters here on the forum I see, well you are entitled to your opinion, but Vista runs smooth as butter on my machine, no BSODs, no errors, no crashes, nothing whatsoever. I like it better than XP, and look forward to the release of Windows 7.

I'm looking forward to 7, Vista has been good to me so far. I stuck with XP for many years for gaming but once the drivers got better Vista performed the same as XP, sometimes better.
But Linux is still my fav OS.
