This December I finally have to write some apps. Have been holding off doing it for the past couple of months.

This is always my issue as well I have been tempted to look into the Whatsapp protocol since people have reportedly figured it out...Not that I'd be allowed to submit an app like that to something like this

The only metro App I would have loved can not be made because of Metro's erm sorry Modern UI's "security enhancements"

I would have loved to create custom Modern UI icons for applications(Both Desktop and Modern UI). Something close to: http://apps.microsoft.com/webpdp/en-us/app/custom-tiles-maker/6192f3b0-03e5-421c-82f4-33ae16537559 but it should have executed apps you select. Security prevent this so there goes that customization idea.....
