So Mike - i actually forgot the reason i posted that message yesterday was because i extended my cable using CAT5e and the length of the cable was 15m, + the 10m of the CT coil itself. So i have quite a long CT cable and its been working with no issues at all - something to look into for your use caseNope my db is too far from the inverter for the CT (>25m). I'm still waiting for the guys to come sort it out...
@Enzo Matrix the seperation of Essential vs Non-Essential has to be done at the DB level. If you wire the CT Coil on the incoming Eskom feed pointing to the DB, then the inverter can supply those feeds between the CT coil and itself (the non-essentials) when there is excess PV. If there is no excess PV or it is at night then the Non-Essentials are powered by Eskom direct
