Hi everyone

I hope someone can help! I have set up my router board(433) as a hotspot, ethernet 1 connected to ADSL router and ethernet 2 is my local network/hotspot users network. This works fine, except for the speed. If I google something it is quick, but as soon as I try to open a site, I have to refresh it a few times before it works.

Can anyone help?

Could possibly be related to TCP packet fragmentation.

Google aways respond with a smaller packet size no matter what is requested from them, unlike most other servers which adhere to the requested size. If the MSS of outgoing requests is mismatched to what the connection is capable of, it will lead to fragmentation, usually resulting in the symptoms you're experiencing.

You could try adding a mangle rule to rewrite outgoing TCP SYN packets to a lower MSS, thereby reducing the requested max packet size.

if you are using the mikrotik router os web proxy try to disable it, as i have had issues with the web proxy.
