Definitely very good cars and it really ticks me off when people just assume Italian cars are bad.
Also keep in mind the beautiful and very reliable German alternative... the giulietta-looking new Astra.

i20 is a brilliant little and fiance is driving one, the i30 is driven by my older brother, so those 2 are a no no for me right now...test drove the mini this past weekend and i think my mind is made up...the car is comfortable and goes like hell, and the handling almost like u are one with it..thanks for the input guys much appreciated...

mito is macho but comes at a price (its an alfa)
4x4 no kids as yet so no need to lug around all that space
not a fan of the opel brand unless u speak of OPC, (too many stories on the Corsa chewing its turbo an the gearbox acting up)

The cooper isnt any more girlish than the Polo, but imo a car is a car, screw the gender aspect.

I bought a new vivo recently. Girlfriend has a big Jetta so no need for me to get a sedan, and im 100% stoked with my decision. its a 1.4, goes like hell and I get over 600k's on the clock. Long distance driving gets me close to 800km's. Seeing as I dont do alot of driving, I never wanted to get a bigger car than that. I suggest you take one of the Polos for a test drive, IMO still the best driving cars on the market.
