Hi,

I have R80.25 credit on my prepaid SIM, so I thought I'd load a 100MB databundle (for R80). However, the IVR system tells me:
"You have insufficient airtime credit to load the 100MB data bundle. Please load R89."

So, do I need data bundle price + R9 in order to load it? Or perhaps data bundle price + 10%?

Thanks

Some at MTN is looking into it...

Failing that, I'm going load airtime a rand at a time, until I can load a 100MB data bundle. (My electronic banking fees are capped at R75, so the transactions are effectively free.)

For the record:
"We have identified the problem and will be rolling out a fix over the next day.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention."

Edit:
I just loaded a 100MB data bundle. You are required to have at least R89 in credit. After purchasing the bundle, the IVR will tell you that R89 has been deducted, however if you check you airtime balance you will discover that only R80 was deducted after all...
