Minister wields axe at Post Office chief

COMMUNICATIONS Minister Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri said yesterday she intended to fire Post Office CEO Khutso Mampeule — the man dubbed “Mr Clean” and who laid a criminal complaint against his predecessor, Maanda Manyatshe — as she had “lost confidence” in him
Hey Ivy - we've long lost confidence in you - hint, hint.

Losing confidence in her implies we had confidence in her to begin with. :D

Amazing she's actually alive! Everyone who has confidence in Ivy please speak now or forever hold your peace.

Wonder if there's a chance that Manyatshe was/is innocent and the new CEO was trying to use him as a fall guy? Don't want to start making excuses but it seems strange that Mampeule is now being investigated, unless corruption is so rife and they want to get rid of an honest voice? Would be sad if Mampeule is being punished for being a whistleblower.

Hey Ivy - we've long lost confidence in you - hint, hint.
All I can say is that it's extremely ironic that this moronic minister has not been axed - I'm actually at a loss for words about her "lost confidence" statement - personally I think she created this SAPO mess by failing to do her duty as guavamint's shareholder representative for SAPO - just like she has been failing to do with Telkodemonopolies & Sentech etc etc etc...

This is becoming like a soap!
After regularly getting other people's post in my PO Box, and regularly not getting my post, I have come to realise that the single most important qualification for all SAPO employees is that they must be severely dyslexic, it's Ivy's little SOAP|SAPO - she only employs dyslexic people like herself...

The oke that exposed the massive corruption within the corridors of parliament through 'Travelgate' was also subsequently dismissed. The powers that be apparently 'lost confidence' in him as well.
Seems the stance is this, if you expose corruption you get crucified.
Taking a tough stance on corruption indeed!
