One cannot get these returns, in any market, consistently. Ever. Finish, klaar, oor en verby.
On their facebook page they further claim,
We make use of scalping, an advanced form of trading technology to give our members consistent daily returns. The average daily return since the implementation of our new trading software has been 0,5% per day.
Using the more conservative 0.5%, your $100 can in other words turn into $365 within a span of 1 year, given 260 active trading days (52 weeks x 5 days per week)? Crazy. Absolutely crazy.
That begs the question, why are they sharing this with everyone if it is '
so' profitable? Why not simply enrich themselves?
I can currently get a personal loan from ABSA, as per my internet banking page, of about R348 000. Investing that whole amount in the above ponzi scheme, using the same 260 days, and subtracting the monthly repayments, I land up with a nice little profit of ~R515 380. Half a million without doing anything?
Taking another loan, adding that profit, I land up with a total, after the continuous repayments of the loan, of:
R 1 127 561 after year 2.
R 3 366 570 after year 3.
R 11 555 590 after year 4. One can probably retire at this stage?
R 41 506 359 after year 5.
R151 049 209 after year 6. etc
Between year 14 and 15 you will probably hit South Africa's GDP.
They claim to be using scalping. To make money using scalping (small price arbitrage) you need to 'win' more than you lose, and while that is possible, you hemorrhage a lot of that profit due to fees, commissions and brokerage fees.
Them using new deposits to feed existing 'investments' is far more likely.
LOL @ the word due diligence being thrown around.
This pops up all over the place when I merely glance at this ponzi. Has the ponzi ever revealed where the bitcoin is stored? Ever shown a verifiable transaction? Who is the brokerage firm/platform?
Anything other than a pretty website with terms that borders on being draconian?
