Mist Fan - Worth It?

Hi Everyone

Looking for a good fan and one of those mist fans caught my eye.
Is it worth buying a mist fan?
Does it cool slightly better then normal fans?

Nope, waste of money. Unless you're sitting like 1m from it

Not worth it unless the air is really dry. Basically - don't buy it if you think it is going to make the wind cooler (just put an ice bucket in front of the fan). The mist is a humidifier.

Used it twice. Then replacing the water becomes too much of a schlep.

Apparently the blades are also susceptible to breaking.
