So, I thought I'd chill infront of the tv and I've been following a bit of the American Idols, I watch the show tonight, the part where Idols takes an advertisement break is cut short with about 4 minutes by Mnet.

They actually just start playing ads while you're watching, no way of telling you they are going to, this happened for the whole hour.

So, I sit by and think, ok, it's automated, some idiot missed the schedule settings or something, so the next episode of the show was supposed to start, but no, they play the exact same one that was on not even a minute after it finished.

Really unprofessional, I'd expect this on SABC, but Mnet really took a nose dive it seems :mad:
 
Yeah, they do this kind of thing a lot...especially playing the same 15mins twice in a row... Or playing the wrong credits at the end. Normally they mess up the pushing daisies credits, and put up the Prison Break ones. Lol.
 
Pathetic, especially for the price we pay :mad:
 
So i glad i cancelled my subscription...i got lost,brison break and heroes on my pc and il go to a sportsbar on weekends,entry is free:) . . .saving 400+ rand a month will be sweeeet:)
 
The BIG question I want to ask is ... How frikkin difficult is it to get these types of things right.

It the answer is very very easy ... then fire the whole staff of the station and get a more competent bunch installed.

If the answer is very difficult then get the whole bunch of management fired because they are then the problem for scheduling such impossible shifts.

on that note, I was also pissed, thou they ended up airing the episode quarter way through :)
 
oops missed out the correct part.
They aired the correct episode. Was a rip :)
 
While this being discussed ... is anyone having bad picture quality problems with the show? It's like the colour and focus is all out of whack.

My picture was fine, it could be a problem though, if it happens again, phone nochoice and report it ;)
