Hi guys.

Need some advice on the best mobile connection I can get as a backup plan for when Eskom decides to turn of the lights. Basicly need something that will allow me to continue playing swtor even at a performance loss.

Don't have any clue about mobile options, ect so all advise welcome. Y I know adsl is the better option for gaming, but my 10mbps connection doesn't help much with no power.

All advise welcome.

I suggest Cell C 3 gig prepaid bundle for no other reason except it won't expire for 12 months

I wonder you need mobile Internet in this case. Just get UPS to supply power to your ADSL modem (and WiFi router) to keep current Internet connection.

If you have universal car power adapter compatible with your ADSL modem, you can connect 7Ah 12V battery (commonly used in alarm systems) to this adapter.

That is only partly true, you need to load airtime each month to keep that active. I found out the hard way because I have one of those sims in my ipad.
