Anyone here using MobileMe. I just signed up and nothing works on mobile me.com

It says that the mail is down for maintainance, but that everything else is supposed to work, only doesn't matter what I click on I just go the the account page.

Everything seems to be working on my iPhone (idisk, mail etc), but nothing when I go to me.com

Doesn't seem worth it anymore, thought it would be nice to have, but if it k@ks out 1min after I sign up...

I think they're down for maintenance, mm is one of the most reliable, but expensive, services I've ever used... if you happy to pay for it, I highly recommend it.

I have to say that everything mobile me could offer, google can offer...and google is free! (which was my exact thinking when I cancelled my mobile me subscription)

Mobile me does have some unique features - syncing your dock across Macs along with everything else eg. Safari Bookmarks, Back to my mac and the iPhone finding feature.

I love MobileMe.

I sync Safari Bookmarks, Contact, Calendar and push Mail from them.

My favourite feature is that I can find my iPhone from the MobileMe website incase it gets stolen/lost and then activate a Password Lock or Remote Wipe...

Mine is working - I am aware that they were down, but they fine now....

For some reason I cant access public idisk folders using an IS account, but works fine on SAIX? Anyone else having this problem?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but thought it better here than opening a new one.

I also love it. Still on 2month trial, but considering to get it. The service is incredible and very cool.

Been using Mobile Me for just over a year now. Works like a dream

I love the easy way that MobileMe just syncs all my stuff. I think it's worth what we paying for. But hopefully this year they would add more functionality since micro$oft is talking about my phone 2.0 and google is catching up.

I've been using it now for about 3 months - love it. Push email, wireless syncing of contacts, calendar etc - pretty much like using MS Exchange without the massive cost. For me it's so worth it...

Kind of like Google Sync - http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/ - just not for free?

Sorry - the Mac KoolAid is tasty to consume . . . but not that tasty.

It's not really that expensive is it? Well I don't think so - I think the point here is that it works for me, support from Apple is first class, and I really don't mind paying for a good, reliable email service. But it's down to personal preference now, isn't it?

Been using it now for 2 years - Quite happy with the auto syncing of settings, dock, bookmarks, contacts etc etc... with my iMac, Macbook and iPhone.

Is MM only for Mac hardware? Will it sync to Windows PC/laptop and/or Blackberry?

I recently tried it but tbh I don't think it's worth it. I was actually disappointed and push email on my iPhone didn't work either.

Get a free Dropbox account instead. If you don't mind pushing Dropbox on twitter and Facebook once in a while and take part in their annual riddle-fest, you can get quite a bit of space. My free "2GB" account is up to 4.5 GB.

Google will fill up most of the remaining functionality and as for Find My Iphone, well try not to Lose Your Iphone! And add it to your home insurance policy, that should cost a lot less than MobileMe.

Mind you, that giant new Apple data centre must have been built for something, so perhaps we should all keep an open mind. If it is just about storing your iTunes-bought media, then it is a big yawn for SA users, of course.

I still think that it will be for [drum roll] FaceTime for Windows. :-)
