Moderation on DStv Forum

Does anybody else get as moderated as much as I do on the MC Forum ... in the past month I have been put on moderation 3 times. Now I know what you must be thinking, I said something against the top secret code of making bad remarks about DStv ... you'd be wrong! I just need to know if others are on moderation so as to know I am not alone in this and then send a Sh|tty e-mail to mc :wtf:
 
I have never been set to moderation or ever recieved an infraction. Perhaps you need to go read the rules etc. So that you can have a better guideline of what is acceptable.
 
I stopped posting on the No-Choice forum, as I would be moderated every 2nd post (so much for being an early adopter of their "tech")
 
I like you signature @EchoZA ... never noticed it until now .... I have a very big lawn that will need to be mowed within the next week ... perhaps you'll do better than my gardner :) lol
 
I'm definitely not on moderation there and never been.












And I also never registered as user there :)

Never been moderated. I normally go on there to ask a question as I find that's the best for DSTV related questions, better than here. I have even ranted about their incompetence a few times and no reprimand.
 
I registered there yesterday to download a manual to help me program my new DSTV remotes. Unfortunately they're so bloody slack that after more than 24 hours I still haven't been approved by a moderator yet. I find it pretty bloody pathetic to be honest...
 
The minute you're above average critical of them, your posts tend to vanish and you get nasty PM's .......

True!

I started a revolt lmao. I set-up polls to add more channels on dstv compact and etc. (Did help GOT MTV BASE!!!!!!)
Thou when i asked why they don't get a HD dsd without the pvr (Which is in production) so people can get something HD, yoh...my posts started getting delayed etc etc

Consider yourself fortunate...king kong is on permanent moderation. They don't appear to be fond of questions lol
 
I registered there & waited I don't know how many days to be able to post. Its ridiculous really. I never even bothered posting after that. Some people need to learn to move with the times.
 
Hey Dyl106 - I noticed browsing through the DSTV forum this morning that your posts have been SERIOUSLY 'trimmed and pruned' by MCA as part of their 'housekeeping process'! I can sympathize with you - I had an ongoing fight with MCA about poor programming, repeats, EPG issues with my SD-PVR, etc, etc - up to Jan 2009 - when they decided that my complaining to them was too much to handle anymore - and decided to cut me off PERMANENTLY as a MCA subscriber - their way of dealing with me! Browse through their present / archive forum ( i was CONSTANTLY being banned there - had to use various pseudonyms such as Barry G / Hyacinth Bucket / Ben Harper / Susan Harper / Victor Meldrew / Edmund Blackadder to keep posting complaints) - as well as my postings here on MyADSL - and see just how autocratic they REALLY are! They are going to catch a BIG WAKE-UP when the new Consumer Protection Act kicks in on 24 October 2010 - I intend to test it with MCA on the 25th of October 2010 - by applying to have my MCA subscription re-activated!

my post on MC forum was deleted last week cause I "mentioned" their dog turd repeating service was BORING me to death and that their HD service was screwing up the SD PVR menus and I tossed in that I'm getting a Mede8er soon. gee I wonder why :whistle:

Jeez, cut off for criticising them? Nazi Germany was more relaxed :D
 
I remeber reporting that KidsCo visual quality was that of youtube, I haven't never watched the channel in about month since. Has anyone who has TopTv & DStv compared the visual qualitys from both broadcasters?
