:mad:OMFG I AM RATHER MAD!!!!! THE HD 5770 IS LISTED AS R2500 AT TAKE2. I REALLY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CAN SOMEONE DO SOMETHING BEFORE I GO MAD...TO LATE:mad:

Now that I have vented my anger, the card seems good, the only limiting factor seeming to be the 128 bit bus. It is around the same performance to the 4870 but has Dx11.

Then wait for the price to drop.
I don't know why people have to have the latest and greatest immediately.
 
But you're not in the USA. :D We have to finally realise that local pricing will be local pricing and there's nothing we can do about it, except ofcourse refuse to buy until the pricing drops.
 
The only issue now is that newer games will use DX11. I do not know if DX11 will make such a huge difference, but if there is a remarkable difference, then rather wait.
Buying a 4890 now, and then a 5000 series next year again..... I don't know about that
 
The prices on the 5xxx series is high because of the lack of stock and the huge demand for the products. So just chill the fark out and wait for stock levels to rise and the prices will drop. :)

Like everybody uses DirectX 10? Still seems like a rip off if one goes for a 5770.
 
Is this your 1st graphics card you are buying?

This is hardly a new trend, everytime something new comes out it is overpriced until the market becomes saturated.

DUDE Y R U LOOKING TO BUY A SLOWER CARD?

Please don't buy a card which is much slower, just becos it is dx11. Thats crazy. Use your 4890 for at least a year, and if dx11 becomes a major thing u rly want, then upgrade then, when a 5870 is within your price range.

You're crazy to want a 5770 now, when you're running a 4890.
