It has a 'Requires Eye Contact' on my phone M20P.
The other Androids I have used have something similar ... I think the Samsung required a blink (a setting). But in order to get a 'Wiped the floor with every Android', they had to turn that off to get the result they wanted. And while they were going on about how the Androids could be fooled, they forgot about the time Face ID was fooled ... and not by a 3D head https://www.neowin.net/news/iphone-xs-face-id-beaten-by-mother-son-combo/

I've actually got videos that I've just taken and if you're really interested, I could even WhatsApp them.
M10Pro with 2D facial recognition
M20Pro with 3D facial recognition
I mean the M20Pro is lightning quick and accurate - I really can't see how the iPhone can be measured as better.
