More downtime on SEACOM cable

Takes a little longer to send a ship to the area m8

Yeah, cause those big landships are so slow these days.

Early indications are that it is not an undersea cable break on SEACOM which is responsible for the latest downtime, but rather issues on the route between Alexandria and Cairo.

My Mweb is fine? Isnt Mweb using SEACOM?

Edit: NEVERmind its dead...

Seacom again... sigh. Seems they're related to Telkom, from these high failure rates.

Wasn't there an article on MyBB just yesterday about them just having put in new redundancy?

I've noticed the last few days, that Web Africa's local connection has been rather useless even for basic internet.

And they claim to use their own platform, so Seacom shouldn't have any bearing on them, whatsoever.

There network in general is upto ****!

Possible ?

I wonder if this cable system was not put in in a great rush for the great SWC ?
Was it used for that purpose at all ?
or
Did Telkom just use the upgraded SAT3 ?
Still it does seem strange that a maritime cable system is always being derailed by terrestrial problems ?????

Seacom

Eish-- sight :(:wtf: Seacom again. It's going to take fews days again that's sucks.
Does anyone know from which company i can purchase a 1 gig voucher and doesn't go through seacom ? Just actually play online game without a pin at 10 s lol. Or everybody using the same line?
thank

Well on openweb gold I was getting great speeds this morning. 350± till 7:15... That's when I turned off my pc and went to work. Not when it died :p

Guess they have made a plan for additional redundancy. Hope it gets fixed soon though
