Chrome OS runs Android apps so Android is technically a desktop OS aswell. Not to mention Windows 10 running on phones internally at MS and it'll be widely available end of this year.

Why? This statistics indicate that if I want to develop and online product, I should get it right for Android first and then Windows. The physical device does not matter in this instance.

Anyway, I think StatCounter's statistics are about four years behind the times.
