Motherboard

What do you guys think about this motherboard:

Worth getting?

Overkill

It is the EXACT same board as the P5N32-E SLI (the non plus). The only difference is the chipset cooler, the power and reset button's directly on the motherboard and the 2 E-SATA. Is that worth R1000?

As I said, go for a P5K Delux WIfi, you won't be disappointed. Good chipset and lot's of toys. use the R1000 buck you save to get an extra 2GB of RAM or a 500GB hard drive

I know it's overkill, but is it a good board, then? :D

oh my word... doode, havnt i said ive tried everything... !!! YES it is fine according to the manual... I HAVE CHECKED ON VARIOUS SITE AND FORUMS, AND ALL THE PEOPLE WITH THIS MOTHERBOARD THAT ATTACH A 4TH DIMM, GET THE BLUESCREEN

Oh my word yes, I am providing some help, how about maybe supplying some basic answers to basic questions. You asked a question on blue screen errors. If you then know it is because of the 4th dimm then why bother asking the question again. Go back to your supplier, if the board is still under warrantee & have it fixed or replaced. If it is a hardware related problem then no software patch from anybody will fix this problem. I don't remember what kind of memory modules you have. A best practise would be to always have 4 of the same size modules manufactured with same chipsets and is according to the spec by the manufacturer. Asus are very good by supplying bios updates that fixes these kind of problems if they don't have any bios updates then there is a design problem. If it is known to be a common problem then that settles it. Go for warrentee or yes use less memory or dump the board. If you like, go to Microsoft and download there memory test. This is a standalone memory test that runs of a stiffy drive. This will test all memory in all memory slots. ;) ;) Enjoy it.

WHat I mean, is for the price, rather go for the P5K Delux WiFi. It has a newer better overclocking chipset, the memory controller is more flexible than the Nforce 680i. and besides all those plus points, it's R1000 bucks cheaper too.

Yes a Golf 4 GTI is quick, but the Golf 5 GTI is quicker!!!

But it has a very cool LCD screen :D

I'm gonna stick to my GA-K8N Pro-SLi for the time being, don't have the money for an upgrade in any case :(

im tired sick and tired of pc's. why buy something if its not going to work... im going to throw it away

Thats why I buy cheapish motherboards, you can always then buy another one from another brand if it gives a problem...

If you initially invest in the correct & reliable product/s then you would not have this kind of problem. It also depends on what you want to do. Gamer's like to always change.;)

LOL, or you buy an expensive (well known brand) motherboard and still have a problem, like this guy
