So how do they warranty something that cant be different (cant be replaced or fixed)?

They have to honour there warrentee, 1year, 3 year's like some brand names. Example. Intel. I have had several MB's that I had to return for replacement at month 34 & they would replace it with same or equivalent. Never a question.

I've never really had to return a motherboard My first PC's motherboard is still somewhere in a closet (in working condition)

Well, I'm sure ID10T wouldn't mind if they'd offer him an equivalent motherboard that doesn't have that problem
