The phone sets the max limit. If you buy any OEM charger you should be fine on the power quality side.

Buy a 2A charger.....the device will only pull as much as it needs. For adapters, going higher than required is usually better.
That's for amps, not volts

Still no 4.4.3 update for my Moto G
My system version is 176.44.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.GB. Anyone else on this version that has received the update?
I have the attached version and also no update yet.

Nope. Unfortunately Motorola Mobility pulled out of South Africa last year. I really wish they would have a presence here again. As it is we really have a dismal selection when it comes to Cell phone manufacturers in SA.
Now owned by Lenovo.

So I had a weird experience with my moto g. Thought I would post it here if someone else also get the problem down the line.
So basically, my phone died, mors dood. The battery was around 25% when this happend. When I plugged in the charger, hold down the power button, nothing went on. Even the notification light was dead. So I searched around the Web and looks like other people also had this problem. What I did to revive my phone was, charged it through the night, even though the screen was dead and I didn't even know if it was charging, and left it unplugged, untouched for 2 days...
After the waiting period I plugged it in the charger and it went on and perfect since. Have no idea what went wrong but luckily my phone is working now!

Would a soft reset using the buttons not have worked?
Tried that! Couldn't get into the bootloader with power button and volume down as well... Basically it was a brick.
