Fair point. Although I'm pretty sure team orders could be easily implemented without too much pushback from whoever would come in as the second rider.
 
Another miserable Friday for Ducati. Dovi 17th in FP1 and 13th in FP2. Both Esponsorama Racing boys (Rabat and Zarco) were ahead of him. His championship title bid is hanging on by a thread. Brad last in FP2. Not sure what happened to him...

Rumour mill going wild.

Its almost a given that Tito Rabat will quit MotoGP, leaving Esponsorama and taking his sponsorship with him. Rossi to shut down the VR46 Moto3 operation and divert funds in to getting Luca Marini in to MotoGP as Rabat's replacement. Enea Bastianini will be the second Esponsorama rider for 2021. Sky VR46 to take full control of Esponsorama in 2022. Pablo Nieto to manage it. Rossi retires and becomes a full-time rider manager/coach for his MotoGP and Moto2 teams.

It is believed from 2022 all manufacturers will have a satellite team.

Aprilia are splitting from Gresini for 2021, going in full as a factory operation while Gresini becomes the Aprilia satellite. So next year we will have one new team on the grid. Suzuki, still looking for a satellite partner, could see Petronas SRT quit Yamaha and become the Suzuki satellite. Sky VR46 to replace Petronas SRT as the Yamaha satellite team.

Well done Darryn but I'm pissed off that Masia wasn't penalised for exceeding track limits. Looks like Spaniards are exempt from the final lap rule.

Keep in mind, Oliveira isn't a rookie, this is his second season.

Binder, Marquez and Lecuona are the new boys.

I'm starting to wonder if success came a little too early for KTM. They lost their testing and development privileges with those wins and suddenly they don't look so great anymore.

Darryn finally looks to have matured as a rider. Folks getting hyped that he could be a serious challenger next year.

Ah right. I confused Oliveira with Jorge Martin as Binder's KTM team mate in Moto 2 last year.
 
I just realised, Joan Mir is leading the championship without having won a race.

And Dovi is only 15-points behind while riding like crap (by his standards).
