MotoGP 2022

So Augusto Fernandez got the 2nd GasGas-Tech 3 seat.
No more MotoGP slots left.
 
Nakagami confirmed with LCR Honda for next year alongside Alex Rins. He's quite fortunate to retain his seat imo, as he hasn't set this season alight on that Honda. Ai Ogura may feel hard done by but if he performs again next year as he has so far, then he's surely a shoe-in for a seat in 2024

Yeah, I would've kept Nakagami as a test rider and gotten Ogura in... but thays probably why I do not run a team

I hear there is a MoU with Saudi for a race there at some point ... money talks
 
KTM found some pace in FP... both through to Q2 by the looks of it. Nice to Marc back as well and looking somewhat racy

Yeah, and comfortably so. Bodes well for them if they can qualify well later today! As for Marquez... Another ludicrous save going into the last corner!
 
Joan Mir is out of tomorrow and next weeks races. Ankle not feeling great
 
Disappointing from KTM but also just shows how close things are. Brad briefly up to P3 and in the blink of an eye, he's 10th. Wonder how much that ankle is bothering him. Hopefully another Sunday masterclass from him. But he's going to have his work cut out passing the Ducati freight train.

He's been given the initial all clear it seems but I'm sure he'll be assessed during the week. What a mental opening to the race though.

Epically chuffed for Brad! I thought after that initial getaway, he was going to be systematically picked off and end up around 7th or 8th but he hung in manfully. KTM has a history of coming on strong towards the end of seasons so let's hope this is a sign of things to come.
 
Aparantly the marshal giving Fabio a ride back crashed.
