MotoGP 2022

Its bizarre how fixated everyone is about the LLP for Fabio as if its the first time its being used... literally every other word is LLP

Well done to Pecco.. also A Esp for even finishing. Wonder what happened to Fabio and Rins. The beast with an asynch bike making the passes

Edit: Damn forgot about Mav... if he hasn't had a bad start

Good race! It was an uncharacteristic Sunday for Brad though. Just didn't make the headway we've come to expect. I switched over late so I'm not sure what tyres he was on.

As for Quartararo, that LLP would have made no difference in the end. He just didn't have the pace which I think is what caught people by surprise. Given his dominant win last year and the fact that the Silverstone layout suits his Yamaha, people were expecting everyone to be fighting for second. Good for the championship though, that wasn't the case.

Esp since Oliveira did so well... maybe the temps? This is good for the championship... tight races and fights is what we need.

Why the hell would Tech3 KTM sign Pol Espargaro. He has proven himself useless and messed up the Honda completely.
Bring in some new blood and stop the musical chairs with riders that have had more than their fair share of chances.

Known quantity I suppose, he started to come good on the KTM as it was then toward the end of his stint.

That said, I think Beirer should be deposed and Aki should run the MotoGP team. Beirer is an utter danger based on what I've read over many years.

Pity about the Suzukis and Zarco. There was much promise through the weekend. Rins seemed to have ruined his tyres with his charge.

Zarco would have got victory no doubt.

WRT Brad, he mentioned he had a contact with someone then lost positions, then his tyre gave in closer to the end - wrong choice on tyres...

Looks like a good chance of rain this weekend in Austria (particularly on Saturday).

Brad's like...

Pol Espargaro announced in the new GASGAS MotoGP™ project

GASGAS and Tech3 will team up to become GASGAS Factory Racing Team in 2023, with the second rider yet to be confirmed alongside the Spaniard

On Friday at their home Grand Prix in Austria, it has been announced that GASGAS and Tech3 will team up to become the GASGAS Factory Racing Team in MotoGP™ in 2023, with former Tech3 and KTM rider Pol Espargaro confirmed as one of the stars in the line-up. The second rider alongside the Spaniard is yet to be confirmed.

GASGAS have always been keen to get on the gas for fun but now the throttle grip feels different, the pace faster and the stakes higher. From 2023 Spain’s iconic motorcycle brand will join the rush of MotoGP for the first time in deal that sees the Tech3 Factory Team turn a full crimson red. The renowned race-winning crew will be equipped with GASGAS MotoGP technology and will place the machinery into the hands of Pol Espargaro for the globe-trotting Grand Prix series with a second rider to be confirmed soon.

Competition - and all the thrill and excitement that comes from racing - is part of GASGAS’ soul. The company, formed in the 1980s, celebrated the joy and buzz that motorcycling brings: everything that is daring, capable, vibrant, inviting. Fame in Trials and Enduro quickly transformed into motocross, supercross and rally success in recent years with a comprehensive foundation of offroad production bikes and now - after tasting spoils in both Moto3™ and Moto2™ classes - the brand is ready for the next frontier; the pinnacle of road racing.

GASGAS want to bring their young, fresh and passionate vibe to the highest stage and that meant transforming the objectives of the Tech3 Factory Racing team for 2023. The decorated outfit and Pol Espargaro will become a new and welcome member of the GASGAS family. The popular 31-year-old will also tie-in some of GASGAS’ Iberian heritage for their maiden MotoGP tilt.

The distinctive red and white livery will go faster than it ever has been thanks to the new GASGAS MotoGP trailblazer. The marque will be the sixth brand in MotoGP for 2023 but has already boosted its presence with Grand Prix victories and podium appearances in Moto3 and Moto2 in the last two seasons thanks to the excellence of the GASGAS Aspar team.
