I like the Gresini organisation - they and Pramac seem to be good places for nurturing and growing talent without the limelight and stress that Factory Ducati or even Mooney VR46 have
 
I like the lineup of Brad and Jack and think they could work well together. They seem to get on pretty well so hopefully it will flourish as a partnership. However, I don't expect Jack to be super quick from the get-go on that KTM. It seems to be a bit of a pig right now, particularly in time attack mode and Jack hasn't shown the ability that Brad has on a Sunday to recover from a poor grid slot.

I think he would have been really good on the Suzuki as they have similar ride characteristics - great corner speed etc. The Ducatis are more stop and go so he might struggle but yes the talent is very much there
 
Tight FP1 at the Sachsenring. Brad down in 15th but less than half a second off top spot (and less that 2 tenths off a top 10). Surprise was Dovi up in 8th. The whole field covered by 1.5 seconds. Early indications are that it is going to be another Quartararo vs Bagnaia battle this weekend but will see.

Very surprised with Dovi way up thete. I am not sure anyone can stop Fabio though. Let's see how FP2 goes
 
The track temp is 50 C, BB33 can look after his tires usually and could have a decent race despite the qualifying woes
 
Quartararo is just being handed this title on a platter. He rode another flawless race again today but Bagnaia and Espargaro are just making it too easy.

Mr Sunday dragging that KTM to a respectable result as well!

Pecco definitely doesnt like following... Fabio is so on rails at the moment and like you day the other contendors are not doing much to help themselves. Nice to see some strong rides by Luca as well as Raul Fernandez. And how about that recovery by Jack following the long lap

Yup, phenomenal stuff from Jack! Good to see he's still pushing hard for Ducati, even though he's leaving. Would be so easy for him to shut up shop and coast through the rest of the season. He doesn't strike me as that type though, which bodes well for KTM.

It seems that this season when Pecco has been pushed (either to stay in front or catch up), he's cracked. We saw it at Le Mans when it was Bastianni that forced him into an error while leading. Today it seems like he was having to ride harder to keep up with Quartararo and again folded. This is in stark contrast to last year when he manfully defended against the likes of Marquez at Aragon.

Pity as well for Darryn. Think he was running 14th at the time of his spill and was on for some good points.
 
I see Oliviera's heading to RNF with their Aprillia's next season. Let's hold thumbs he has a Binder teammate again.
 
Desperate for a Suzuki result, if only for the fortunes of Mir and Rins themselves. The bike does well there traditionally and wow, what a fabulous track for bike racing. Hoping it spells the end of processional racing we've had of late but there's not telling what the latest aero is going to do to the typically close racing Assen produces.

Outside bet - a Zarco result will be tremendous and we're due a backflip.
 
Brad snuck a crucial last gasp P8 in FP2 which, given there is some sketchy weather forecast for tomorrow, means he could find himself in a rare Q2 appearance.

EDIT: Although, I see the sketchy weather may only be arriving much later in the evening which means a lacklustre FP3 could see him miss out. So not popping the bubbly just yet.
 
A solid 10th for Brad in Q2. If his Sunday form continues, he could be fighting for a podium tomorrow, fingers crossed.
