Mouth Alcers.

I suffer of ulcers from very young, always inside my mouth, never on my lips. Sometimes more than one at the same time, but usually one a month or so, or when I bit myself. What helps for this?
 
A salt water mix also helps.Will hurt if ulcers are open.The other thing to try is Listerine mouthwash.Available at supermarkets normally but expensive.
 
The best thing for ulcers is TCP, it is a mouth wash that tastes aweful.

Absolutely brilliant stuff but they've stopped selling/making it afaik .... haven't been able to get any for months.

To the OP, don't go the Listerine or salt water route if they are open ulcers ... it'll burn really bad.
 
I thought ulcers were also a symptom of high acid in your metabolism? like what causes gout? How much water do you drink? How often do you de-tox?

After posting I also realised that I haven't seen it anywhere recently. A bit of googling revealed that pfizer sold the rights for TCP to some German company I have never heard of. Probably why we don't get it anymore.

Sure it will but will cure fast.I have being using Listerine as a mouthwash for years never had a mouth ulcer since then.Best mouthwash pn the market.
 
I have an ulcer on my gum right now. It's very painful :(...starting to go away now after 4 days though :). Will get glycerine soon.

Well I get a lot of water in, but in the form of tea, coffee and coke.... Does hat count? :D Maybe a bit more water will help prefent.

Burn of the like doesn't matter, as long as it works.

Will give that a try too. Me thinks wife has it for my little girl's teeth.
 
Could be a mineral deficiency.

I use Bonjela, it's absolutely amazing. Normally heals mouth ulcers in less than two days - but it stings. Really, really badly, but fortunately only for a few seconds.

+1 for Andolex-C.

It IS a bit expensive, but you don't use that much, it has analgesic properties (so the pain of the ulcer is slightly reduced, albeit for only a short time), and it'll help to make sure it doesn't get infected.

Many people use it after surgery to keep mouth clean (when you can't brush properly).
 
I had either Candida or mouth ulcer. Garlic seemed to help a bit.
