Watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight for the first time... Don't see what the fuss is about, tbh.

Although I guess I'm a couple of decades late...

The idea of the Apartheid censors having a coronary did give me a smile, though.
 
Dope (2015) 7.5/10

A lot of fun...kind of a farcical comedy-drama with a great soundtrack. Highly recommended for fans of hip hop from the 90's.

Lead actor is phenomenal.

Beasts of No Nation. 9/10
Fantastic film really felt like a cross between Apocalypse Now and Peter Pan. Cary Fukunaga has to be commended on the incredible work he did with the camera where it just didn't feel like there hardly a single film shot that felt wasted

Netflix first movie and Idris Elba. Will make this a priority to watch.
 
Anyone seen the movie Momentum as yet? I see it launched in the US yesterday and seems pirates already got their hands on it...
 
As Above, So Below (2014)

Horror movie that makes little sense. People run around the catacombs of Paris. There are only two things going for this:
  • What is going to happen next?
  • Awesome soundtrack.

Have yet to watch it but def will; it's an SA-USA movie filled with action; has he baddie from The Following; Freeman & that cutie Olga.

Sounds like a winner to me...when I watch it will report back.

Nah, actually watched the movie last night.

It was shot in Cape Town.

It had a good cast. In fact, two of my favorite actors, and even the cutie woman, were in this movie, but they all managed to f**k it up.

I had issues with the story line, the acting, and much more. After the first 30 minutes I actually felt frustrated and wanted to switch off. To my own dismay, I did not.

But, at the end of the day, I think there may actually be an audience for this movie between the 10 year old age range and the retarded.
 
Going to have to watch it again, must have missed half the funnies.
