It was a good story, good directing, good acting. I got a lot of the references, since they've been so prevalent since the original came out.

Guess I'll have to make time for this then. Was thinking about giving it a skip.

Recycled jokes (seriously?)and a poor plot countered by some solid action and a few hilarious moments makes it ok in my book. Trailers basically set the tone and if you liked those you'll love the movie.

+1, expected better, being a Deadpool fan since back when it started. Or maybe I set my expectations to high for this movie....
 
Cartel Land (2015) 7/10

R-rated documentary about vigilantism on both sides of the Mexican drug war....very visceral, raw. I took off a couple of points because the movie doesn't seem to say anything...it's a pretty harrowing watch with little in the way of resolution. Guess it's fitting? Drug war doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
 
Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015)

After getting tired of this series, and not expecting much....I had this on my hard disk for months and grudgingly watched it tonight.

A solid action movie, one of the best i've watched in a while. A hot chick, good chases and a good cast. All round very impressed.

8.5/10
 
Whitney 2016 - 1/10

The actress really looks like her, but they messed this documovie up badly.

I dunno. As a kid, they were something great.

I have good memories of crap movies like 'no retreat, no surrender', 'delta force', 'commando', and lot of chuck Norris and JC van damme movies .....will never watch them again but they will always have a special place
 
How to Be Single (2016) 6/10

Unashamedly a chick flick; watched it with the wife. Has its moments & few laughs but it's really catered towards the female species. Rebel Wilson is as loud & in your face as ever.

It's unashamedly nothing. That was my problem with it. It talks big about love, friendship, self-empowerment and humour but lives up to none of those in the storyline.
 
Terminator Genisys (2015)

Enjoyed the movie. Had a few stupid moments, but that was expected. Great performance by Ted Cruz

Some genuinely funny moments, but definitely not a movie made with kids in mind. If you have any then you may want to reconsider, but don't moan about being surprised that tits were shown... :p
