I agree - if all your phone and MP3 requirements are met by one walkman phone.
Yip and if you using it at the gym you can be on Mxit, make a call, check out the cricket scores and take pics of all the pretty ladies!![]()
And there is the very important issue of the iPod being the only future proof music player. When the iTunes Store (Which is by far and away the biggest and best online music store) opens in SA, the iPod will be the only music player that will work with it
Regarding those old Russian sites. It is only a matter of time till they get shut down or forced to change. Could be 2 years, could be 6 months.

I'm old school - I prefer to steer clear of the all-in-one convergence idea - lose one lose all.
Plus I'd rather not have to sacrifice functionality or features just for the sake of convenience. Take a camera phone - they're not very good - they cant be because of the size constraint.
Using a phone as a mp3 player leads to no battery left for those important calls. Sure carry another battery of two but then you might as well have a separate mp3 player.
