bwana let me guess you never got rid of that apple mac pc yet.....that 20 sec start up pc...wanna sell:)
Thats my little old intel mini - you should try Xp on my 17" MBP. ;)

I have a 2nd gen Nano 8GB (black) (bought in Dec 2006 from Incredible Connection - so still under guarantee) in perfect condition (I mean perfect) that I'm considering selling. What would be a realistic asking price?

I tried to sell my first gen Nano (2GB white) in the classified section a few weeks ago but there was no takers.

arf9999 : I understand perfectly the iTS business model.

SonyBMG want legal music download. By they want variable pricing. Once iTS has entered a market, SonyBMG loose pretty much all say as to how it is priced thereafter. So they are getting very sticky about it before they allow their music to enter a market.
And it is really, really well documented. Just look it up instead of calling it hearsay

in South Africa? That's the hearsay part. <edit> AFAIK</edit> Apple has no plans for iTunes in SA - nothing to do with the music companies .

..and btw it isn't only SonyBMG that want variable pricing. Universal, Warner and EMI want it too... it's also well documented - but a moot point in the case of SA.
