Hi folks

Some advice please. I'm interested in up-skilling with a SQL certification or the like.

I'm in a role that borders Finance and IT, whereby I need to pull data from SQL tables. I need to improve my SQL skills to the point that I can create tables, query data etc. Fundamental skills (which I generally google my way through but that would never fly in an interview).

Anyone know of where/how I can certified? Suggestions? Cost?

I see MS has several certifications for 2012/2014 and 2016. But not sure which one is most applicable, or appropriate going forward.

Thanks in advance!

The MS certification is more of a DBA (Admin) role and not a DB Developers course.

Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Fundamentals is fairly balanced, it may be exactly what he needs. Costs about $40 (exam, no training) and can be written at any Pearson VUE exam centre.
